Elected officials and activists rallied against the proposed $10 New Jersey Turnpike expansion plan Tuesday in Jersey City.

The proposal involves widening the I-78 Turnpike extension, doubling lanes across Newark Bay through Bayonne and to Exit 14C in Jersey City. Some nearby residents oppose the plan due to increased traffic and pollution.
