Customers of the Millburn Deli in Millburn were blessed with an appearance by the so-called Pickle Priest on Thursday.

The Pickle Priest, who also goes by the Instagram handle @castriconed, has developed a bit of a social media following by dressing up in medieval garb and blessing pickles that are brought to him.

The Pickle Priest came to the Millburn Deli to celebrate National Pickle Day and to be on hand as the deli unveiled two new limited edition pickle flavors – spicy firecracker pickle chips and Kool-Aid pickle spears.
