The snow that fell throughout the night has given way to periods of heavy rain, making for a messy commute Monday morning.
The salt and snow plows are out making sure there is no ice on the roads, but drivers are being urged to give themselves extra travel time.
Temperatures are in the 30s, and expected to warm up throughout the day.
The National Weather Service originally issued a winter weather advisory for northwestern parts of the state through Monday morning.
