More clouds and a developing system to our west will shake things up and periodically shake out a few showers for today. It will not be a statewide soaking.
The shower chances are isolated and widely scattered. But the chance for a shower is not zero.
The better opportunity for that statewide soaking occurs on Sunday. A more defined weather system cruises into our neighborhoods late Sunday morning. Probably when Easter Masses are letting out. The rain will be consistent and at times plentiful.
The storm chances will linger through 3 p.m. and 4 p.m. As the rains pass, the winds will change direction and become gustier. This will start to draw in cooler air from western New York State and Canada. The air will once again be on the downside of this temperature teeter-totter.
The weather will be sunny, but it will also be cooler early next week.
