Anne Delorier, owner of Eleven11 Biz, says many local vendors look forward to Small Business Saturday.
“For all of us, the holidays are really where we really sort of bring it home for the year,” explained Delorier, “If people want to continue to shop in person, touch things, try things on, they have to support the small businesses so we can stay open.”
She’s playing her part by hosting her annual Small Business Holiday Market on Dec. 14 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the parking lot of her store.
Delorier has gathered 10 women vendors to display their items on the day of the event, making it easier for shoppers to do their holiday shopping in one spot.
Delorier shared with News 12 the holiday fashion trends that are surfacing.
“We’re seeing a lot of studded bags, so bags with large garnets,” said Delorier, “charm necklaces, bracelets – you can do charm clips, and big bulky charm necklaces are also big.”
Eleven11 Biz is located at 8 Church Street South in Westport.
