Two liquor store clerks are lucky to be alive after a shot was fired during a hold-up in North Arlington.
A man with a gun entered the Lucky 7 convenience store shortly after 8 p.m. Thursday. The suspect demanded cash and fired a warning shot.
Store owner Jignesh Patel says the shot landed in the countertop inches away from his employees. Neither was hit.
?They're both fine,? says Patel. ?Nobody got hurt.?
Police say the suspect entered the store to survey the place first. He then left the store to cover his face and change his jacket before the robbery.
The entire incident was caught on surveillance video that police are now reviewing.
