Jersey Shore businesses are hoping bad weather won't rain on their parade this holiday weekend.
Businesses are looking to make bank on residents taking "stay-cations" for the Fourth of July due to rising gas prices. Ominous clouds could hit hard the pocketbooks of restaurant, hotel and shop owners.
The threat of rain couldn't destroy the spirit of all vacationers in the area, however.
"My aunt brought us here," says 13-year-old Tyler Bartlet. "Me and my cousins and my brothers are just chilling and having fun."
Business owners say the hope the weekend stays overcast so they can still bring in some revenue. The forecast predicts a possible washout, however.
