Thanksgiving Day high school football games aren’t what they used to be in New Jersey, but there are still a few games on the menu for Thursday.

There is the Soul Bowl between Newark’s Weequahic and Shabazz high schools. The Battle of the Fields is between Westfield and Plainfield.

And Manasquan vs. Wall will be the annual battle for southern Monmouth County bragging rights.
