Kean and Rowan men's baseball teams have advanced to the NCAA Division III World Series in Ohio, marking the first time since 1985 that two New Jersey Athletic Conference teams have reached the series in the same year, according to NJAC officials.
Kean defeated Salve Regina 5-2 on Saturday, while Rowan beat Lynchburg 6-2, officials said.
Both teams are set to compete in the World Series starting Friday, May 30.
