Seton Hall University has received $8 million from an anonymous donor.
According to school officials, the money will be directed to the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry. 
It'll also specifically be used for research and scholarships.
Seton Hall President A. Gabriel Esteban said, "It will allow us to continue to attract the best and the brightest students and faculty to our university."
