Parole has been approved for one of the men responsible for the fatal 2000 fire at Seton Hall.
Three people were killed and another 38 injured in a fire started by Sean Ryan and Joseph Lepore in a Seton Hall dormitory. Ryan, now 28, is scheduled for release from the Garden State Youth Correctional Facility May 6.
Ryan and Lepore were each sentenced in 2007 to five years in prison for starting the fire. They could have faced up to 30, but both agreed to plea deals.
Lepore is also up for parole later this year.
