Secret Santas are spreading holiday cheer in Ocean County. Dozens of families have had their layaways paid off by Secret Santas at the Kmart in Manahawkin on Route 72. .

The Secret Santas come in with cash in hand and pay off the tabs of total strangers. Their only request is that the families they are helping are those that are purchasing children's toys. Jennie and Dave Williams, of Manahawkin, are among the lucky recipients. They say they are blessed and hope to one day pay it forward.

The manager at the Kmart says dozens of Secret Santas have hit the store in Manahawkin. Anonymous little elves like them have paid off thousands of Kmart layaway accounts this Christmas across the nation.
