The search is on Monday for a killer who escaped the psychiatric hospital in Winslow Township.
Police say 65-year-old William Enman walked away from Ancora Psychiatric Hospital Sunday. The hospital is one of the many facilities that have housed Enman since 1975, when he was found not guilty by reason of insanity in the beating death of Peter LeSueur, 27, and LeSueur?s 4-year-old son. Enman has been diagnosed as a paranoid/schizophrenic.
LeSueur?s brother, along with authorities, are now urging Enman to turn himself in. The Morris County prosecutor says Enman still has contacts in Morris County, where the murders took place, and may try to return. Authorities also believe Enman may try to go to Nova Scotia where he may own property.
Authorities believe Enman may have geared up for his escape. They say he walked off the hospital grounds with a backpack and camping and survivalist equipment.
Anyone who may have seen Enman is urged to contact authorities immediately.
