Rutgers University continues to work to restore its computer network following a "denial of service" attack that crippled campus computer systems earlier this week.
According to the university's IT Department, several measures have been implemented to stabilize the network. Those measures include network hardware upgrades, web server improvements and DDoS mitigation services.
The department is working with the Rutgers Police Department, FBI and Department of Homeland Security to investigate the source of the attack.
The university says more updates will be provided Friday at around 10 a.m.
This is the second time this month Rutgers has been hit by a cyberattack. At the beginning of the month, Rutgers technicians had to restore Internet service following an attack that lasted five days.
