A large tree branch falls and destroys the Hillsdale Volunteer Ambulance Service building.

According to Hillsdale Mayor Michael Sheinfield, Just after 6:00 AM this morning, what's believed to be a rotted tree branch came crashing down into the roof of the Washington Avenue building.

Two volunteers had just arrived for work and were inside. Both were startled but are ok.

A large hole can be seen from inside the building, which will now have to be evaluated for structural damage.

The Mayor says the volunteer service volunteers will now work out of the neighboring firehouse until further notice.
