Residents blast best-selling author for criticizing NJ 9/11 widows
A conservative commentator and author is at the center of a national controversy after criticizing 9/11 widows in her new book, "Godless: The Church of Liberalism." In the book, Ann Coulter attacks the "Witches of East Brunswick" who have publicly backed Democrats and criticized President Bush. Coulter calls the women "self-obsessed" and writes, "These broads are millionaires enjoying their husband?s deaths."
Many residents say Coulter has gone too far and lacks empathy. Others say she makes a valid point, but isn't very tactful in making it.
