As British authorities continue to investigate Saturday's terror attack in London, it is now being reported that one of the victims may be from the New Jersey area.
Reports say that an American, possibly from New York or New Jersey, was shot during the London attack and survived. Those reports say the man was shot by police as officers were firing at the three suspects.
All three of the suspects were shot dead by police and have been identified. Police say two of the suspects were stabbing people in Borough Market after running down walkers with a van on London Bridge.
The attack killed seven people and wounded 48. The reported American victim's identity has not yet been revealed, but that person was among the 21 listed in critical condition.
London Bridge was reopened to traffic Monday and barricades were placed on three other bridges in the area to protect walkers from cars.
Police arrested 18 others in East London and say all were released Monday night with no charges.
Islamic State militants claimed responsibility for the attack, which was the third on British soil this year.
