A popular but controversial nightclub in Passaic County is set to close, according to a report on
NorthJersey.com.
Sources tell the newspaper that the owner of the Bliss Lounge in Clifton has turned in the keys and the lease to the building’s landlord.
The decision to shut down comes after several police-involved incidents involving unruly crowds and arrests.
The incidents caused the club to lose its live music permit two months ago.
Neighboring business owners say that they are happy because club patrons often caused their businesses trouble.
