A report from United Way of Northern New Jersey is shedding light on New Jersey children living in poverty, saying even before the coronavirus pandemic – 2 in every 5 children were living in financial hardship.
According to the report, in the fall of 2021, 50% of New Jersey families below or equal to the poverty line reported that their children sometimes or often didn't have enough to eat.
