Red Cross of New Jersey sends help to hurricane-ravaged Florida

Volunteers from the American Red Cross of New Jersey have been sent to help Florida residents in areas damaged by Hurricane Ian.

Volunteers from the American Red Cross of New Jersey have been sent to help Florida residents in areas damaged by Hurricane Ian.
There are currently at least 15 New Jersey volunteers in Florida helping to set up and operate shelters.
According to regional Red Cross officials, the organization is going to have several hundred shelters open in the area.
PSE&G has also said it plans to release 48 contracted employees to provide aid. They are holding additional crews in preparation for any New Jersey impact this weekend.
