A rare baseball card from the early 1900s is now up for auction in New Jersey.
The card, featuring Pittsburgh Pirates legend Honus Wagner, is from 1909 and is expected to bring in nearly $1.5 million at the Robert Edward Auctions.
Auctioneer Brian Dwyer explains why the Wagner card is one of the most coveted cards in all of baseball.
"There are about 50 to 75 known, which is more than people realize. But it has always had clout because there is the story that Wagner didn't want his image associated with tobacco," says Dwyer. "Whether or not that's true has added to the allure of the card."
Other items up for auction are a 1971 Willie Mays jersey, championship rings, and cards of Babe Ruth and Mickey Mantle.
Online bidding ends April 25. Anyone interested in bidding can go to the website.
