New York rapper Tione Merritt, known by his stage name Lil Tjay, was arrested on third gun charge.

The 22-year-old was allegedly involved in a shooting in Edgewater last summer where he was shot and critically injured. Bergen County prosecutor's office says Merritt had three guns hidden in his car when the shooting took place.

An arrest warrant was issued last month. Merritt was on a world tour at the time so he turned himself in after coming home Friday.

This is Merritt’s third arrest this year. He faces three counts of weapon related charges.
