Heavy rain across New Jersey made it difficult for people to drive home Friday evening.
News 12 New Jersey Storm Watch meteorologists say that the rain is expected to last into Saturday and may even turn into snow in elevated parts of the state.
Drivers were advised to use caution while traveling.
“It’s not too bad because there’s a lot of traffic so I’m not going too fast. But if I was going fast I would be concerned about it a little bit,” said driver Bob Manino.
Although the bad weather makes many want to stay indoors at home, it is not always an option.
“Our families have to go to places. We have a volleyball tournament we have to go to Atlantic City for, so we can’t stop,” says Omar Callegari.
Forecasters say that flooding is possible in some parts of the state.
