Powerful thunderstorms brought dangerous weather conditions to New Jersey, including parts of Mercer County.
The National Weather Service issued a tornado warning for parts of the county for a time Wednesday afternoon, as the storms moved through the area.
Areas around Princeton saw heavy rain and storms that brought some hail.
Some Princeton streets saw localized flooding following the storm. Drivers are urged to use caution while traveling. Drivers should never drive through flooded streets because it can be difficult to determine how deep the water may be.
New Jersey has been in the midst of severe weather conditions since Tuesday. The National Weather Service confirmed that a category EF-1 tornado touched down in Sussex County, causing damage in Stanhope and Hopatcong.
