Clouds continued to increase today, with afternoon highs reaching the lower 40s. The primary focus, however, shifts to tonight as a round of light snow showers moves through the boroughs. The general timeframe for this activity is from about 8 p.m. through 5 a.m. Monday.
Impacts are expected to be minor, with precipitation tapering off early Monday morning. While 1–2" of wet snow are possible in some spots, other areas may see only a coating to less than an inch.
Monday will begin cloudy but should become partly sunny by midday, with temperatures near seasonal levels. Tuesday remains mild as highs return to the 40s.
Our next weather system arrives midweek. At this time, it appears more likely to bring rain than snow, though details will become clearer over the next couple of days.
