Authorities say criminals are targeting homes to steal vehicle fobs, with a noted uptick in coordinated theft groups.
Police are reminding residents to bolster home and vehicle security:
- Secure doors and windows
- Install alarms
- Keep valuables (including keys) out of view
- Report any suspicious behavior immediately to help prevent further incidents
