Is your water tasting salty recently? You’re not alone!
Homeowners in several communities across New Jersey have reported a salty taste coming from their taps.
That includes in Rahway, where the city says road treatment runoff from recent storms is causing elevated salt levels in the Rahway River.
The city says it’s working with Veolia Water to mitigate the issue.
Earlier this week, American Water put out a similar quality alert for communities in Monmouth and Ocean counties. The company says it is still safe to drink the water.
