The Monroe Township Jewish Center was targeted by vandals on Wednesday, according to Rabbi Shmuel Polin.
The entrances to the building were spray-painted with offensive messages. Police are working with the Jewish Federation to investigate the incident and manage security.
"The climate of antisemitism and xenophobia are extremely high right now. From college campuses, synagogues and online we are facing a new wave of incidents, and we must remain vigilant of acts of bias and hate,” Polin wrote in a statement.
Anyone who might have information about the incident should contact the Monroe Township Police Department.
