A protest was held at the American Dream Mall on Friday as demonstrators rallied for two workers who they believe were fired for trying to organize a union.
About 35 people protested outside the mall, including the two who were terminated, Jose Teran and Luis Varela.
"I was surprised, I wasn't expecting this. They did it with a text message and it was a big shock to me," Varela said.
Both Teran and Varela say they hope the rally will lead changes at the mall and both would like to get their job back.
