Prosecutors recommend up to 10 months in jail for Felicity Huffman
Actress Felicity Huffman could spend close to a year in jail for her role in the massive college admissions scandal.
Prosecutors are recommending a sentence of between four and 10 months behind bars, but Huffman plans to ask for a lesser sentence of no jail time, to six months.
A federal judge will have the final say when she's sentenced in May.
Huffman has pleaded guilty to paying $15,000 to boost her daughter's SAT score.
Twelve other parents have also agreed to plead guilty.
Actress Lori Loughlin, and her fashion designer husband Mossimo Giannulli, have pleaded not guilty to paying $500,000 to get their daughters into USC.
Several other indicted parents have also entered not guilty pleas.
