The prosecutor’s office says a woman from Parsippany has been indicted on charges related to the stabbing death of her mother – with her newborn daughter present in the apartment.
The murder happened last September at the apartment in Parsippany.
According to the prosecutor’s office, an indictment was returned against Lila Lucariello, 33, charging her with first-degree murder.
The prosecutor’s office says Lucariello’s husband called 911 after finding the body inside their apartment.
When police arrived, they found Salwa Kahn-Tamr, age 58, of Prospect Park.
Lucariello was identified as her daughter.
Lucariello's newborn daughter was also in the apartment at the time of the murder.
According to NorthJersey.com, court records say she has a history of mental illness.
