6h agoA former fifth grade teacher in Cape May has been accused of sexually abusing a student and giving birth to his child.
Prosecutors say Laura Caron abused the boy since he was 11. He had been living in her home at the time.
The victim’s father contacted school officials, stating that Caron’s 5-year-old child resembled him and his son.
The victim then told police that he had a sexual relationship with the teacher and was the father of the child.
