Prosecutor: Teacher accused of falsifying doctor’s note to get out of wearing mask
A Woodbridge teacher has been accusing of falsifying a doctor’s note to get out of the district’s COVID-19 mask policy.
The Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Office says that Gayle Hadley, 53, has been charged with one count of fourth-degree uttering and one count of fourth-degree falsifying medical records.
Authorities say that Hadley allegedly submitted a forged doctor’s letter to the Woodbridge Township School District “in which she claimed a fictitious medical exemption from the district’s mask policy.”
Law enforcement officers began to investigate the claim after school administrators raised some concern about Hadley’s note.
Anyone who may have additional information about the incident should contact the prosecutor’s office at 732-643-7700.
