Officials say a former Westwood councilman who was facing prison and his wife took their own lives in their Westwood home.
Police found the bodies of 67-year-old Robert Miller and his 59-year-old wife, Aecha, on Thursday.
The Bergen County prosecutor is awaiting autopsy results to determine how the couple died.
Robert Miller resigned from the council in September after he signed a plea agreement with federal prosecutors in which he admitted selling phony massage therapy training certificates to women who worked as prostitutes at massage parlors in New Jersey.
