A 79-year-old East Hanover man has been sentenced to 15 years in prison for fatally shooting his wife, according to the Morris County prosecutor.
Authorities say Alexander Jacobs shot his wife in the head inside their home on Selmar Terrace in 2020.
Police went to the scene following a 911 call reporting a domestic incident involving a gun.
Jacobs’ sentence is subject to the No Early Release Act, according to authorities.
