A Brick Township man has pleaded guilty to the desecration of human remains related to a killing in Ocean County in July, according to the county prosecutor.
Officials say that Jared Krysiak, 34, faces eight years in prison when he is sentenced on Feb. 7.

The charges stem from the killing of Kerry Rollason. Krysiak is one of four people charged in connection to the killing.
Prosecutors say Krysiak helped scatter body parts in trash bags, which were discovered inside a home in Jackson Township.
Authorities say that Rollason was shot and killed by Maxwell Johnston on July 3. Johnston died by suicide on July 5 following an hourslong standoff with police.
