A Seaside Heights woman pleaded guilty to aggravated manslaughter in connection to the death of a Toms River woman earlier this year.
Elizabeth Mascarelli faces up to 25 years in prison for her role in the death of Kerry Rollason on July 3.
Rollason’s dismembered body was found at a home on Toms River Road in Jackson Township following an investigation into the killing of Gabriella Caroleo on June 27.
Authorities say Mascarelli helped Maxwell Johnston – who was on the run for killing Caroleo – by allowing him to stay in her Toms River home on Ravenwood Drive.
Johnston eventually killed himself during an hourslong standoff with police.
Mascarelli and several others were charged in connection to the crimes.
Mascarelli will be sentenced on Jan. 31.
