The Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Office is investigating an apparent homicide involving four people.

Authorities say that Plainsboro police were called to a Titus Lane home to perform a welfare check on the residents. When officers arrived, they found four people dead inside the home.

Details about the deaths were not immediately released. Police say that there is no threat to the public. Family members tell News 12 New Jersey that two of the victims were 10-year-old and 6-year-old children.

Officials are asking anyone who might have information or surveillance footage of the area to call Detective Will Atkinson of the Plainsboro Police Department at 609-799-2333 or Detective Javier Morillo at the Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Office at 732-745-8843.
