President Barack Obama shared a strong message to the black men of America at the "My Brother's Keeper Initiative" at the Walker Jones Education Campus.
Obama spoke about overcoming cultural differences, and mentioned that if a black man speaks proper English, it does not mean that he is acting "white." He says it instead means that he is smart and has an education.
Many Bronx residents are reacting to the president's statements and thanking him for talking about an important issue.
The president went on to say that you don't have to act a certain way to be authentic, and that you just have to be who you are and represent the values that you care about.
