Camden man accused of repeatedly exposing himself in public

A Camden man accused of engaging in sexually inappropriate behavior in public is facing numerous charges.
Haddon Township police say they received a report on April 11 that Axel Novaberganza motioned for three teens to approach him before performing a lewd act near the Target at 602 W. Cuthbert Boulevard.
Detectives say they later identified the Toyota Corolla the 28-year-old used to flee the scene. Officers arrested him and then took him to the Haddon Township Police Headquarters.
He was charged with multiple counts of luring, child endangerment and criminal sexual contact for the incident.
Police say they went on to connect Novaberganza to two other cases that occurred in the Newton Creek area.
The first was a report made by three minors, ages 15 and 16, on June 21. They told police a man exposed himself and performed a lewd act after attempting to get them to approach him.
The second was a report made by an adult passerby who encountered a man engaging in similar acts on July 14.
Detectives say they were able to build evidence tying him to these incidents with the help of Automated License Plate Recognition technology.
The first incident resulted in additional charges including luring, child endangerment and criminal sexual contact. The second added one count of lewdness, a disorderly persons offense.
