Officials say a traveler who arrived at Newark Liberty International Airport from Japan was confirmed to have the measles.
According to officials, the traveler arrived in Terminal B from Tokyo, and departed from Terminal A to Quebec, Canada between May 29 at 5 p.m. and May 30 at 3:30 p.m.
Officials say the traveler was infectious while at the airport and may have exposed others to the disease.
If infected, people could develop symptoms as late as June 20.
