Residents in Wayne are hoping for a miracle in the way of getting their power restored after Isaias tore through the area.
For residents living on Black Oak Ridge Road, the chance of power being restored is slim with utility officials saying they may have to wait until next week.
Also hard hit by high winds and heavy rain was the area along Nathans Way. Some people living there have been using generators to get by, while others are not so fortunate.
"Very boring and tedious," says Kerry Hart. "No TV, no internet."
Neighbors along Nathans Way say they did see utility crews with JCP&L out on Thursday working. They say the crews put up two new utility poles and left before connecting the wires.
Now the residents are told they may not have power until Tuesday.
One family thought they would have some fun instead of complaining. The Obals put out signs that read, "What's up JCP&L, we need electric, day three."
"We kind of just thought it would be fun to put some smiles on people's faces," says Caity Obal.
The Obals say the hardest part of having no power has been living without air conditioning.
JCP&L reports that there are still more than 12,000 customers without power in Passaic County.
