The list of strange things found in New Jersey's Meadowlands is a long one.
But while bodies and garbage may be almost cliche for the storied swampy region, riders of New Jersey Transit for years have looked out their window to see something truly out of place - a surfboard.
It floats in Penhorn Creek in North Bergen. It's been there for half a decade, and it never moves, despite the currents and tide.
In today's episode of Brian's Positively New Jersey, Brian and his cousin Jimmy (the only other person crazy enough to join him) go on an epic trek through the Meadowlands to find the surfboard and the story behind it.
Spoiler alert: It involves turtles who like to eat Cheese Doodles, because of course.
