Thousands of New Jerseyans will hit the road for the Fourth of July holiday.
Most of the children riding in cars with their families on this trips will almost certainly stay entertained by smartphones and tablets. They will watch movies or play games. They probably won’t be very bored.
News 12’s Brian Donohue says that this is a relatively new phenomenon.
In the days before all of this technology children had to rely on family singalongs, roadside games or – more often than not – fighting with their siblings.
