The Fireplace restaurant in
Paramus is open again, after closing
its doors for the entire summer
out of an abundance of caution during the coronavirus pandemic.
Owner Patrick Reilly says shutting down and reopening
is challenging, but his family's business means everything to him, and he just
has to make a comeback.
"When there is a COVID
freight train coming at this business, we decided to get off the track,” says
Reilly. “We wanted to give
indoor dining two weeks, just to make sure that nothing happened over Labor
Day, which would have convinced Gov. Murphy to close again.”
The restaurant is also open for curbside, take-out and outdoor dining,
in addition to indoor dining.
