A recent poll shows that some people worry about their safety driving over bridges and through tunnels in New Jersey, due to road conditions.

The poll was released by Stockton University on Tuesday.

People participating in the poll said issues like potholes have cost them money, and they wonder safe the bridges and tunnels are.

According to the poll, 45 percent of respondents believe state roads are in fair condition and 35 percent found them to be in poor condition. Almost half say poor road conditions have cost them money for repairs, including flat tires from potholes.

The poll shows that New Jersey adults would overwhelmingly support a federal infrastructure bill, discussed in Washington, that would spend up to $200 billion on road, bridge and tunnel improvements, but only about half said they'd be willing to pay for those improvements.
