Nutley police say a string of robberies and attempted break-ins have taken place in the town.

Two of the incidents occurred on Thursday, with a third happening on Friday.

Suspects tried to get into a home on North Spring Garden Avenue but were unsuccessful, officers say. Credit cards were then taken from a house on Milton Avenue. Thieves also tried getting into a home on Nutley Avenue, according to police.

Police believe all three incidents are related.
