A Sussex County man is accused of shooting and injuring a 70-year-old man.
Officials say it happened on Monday just before 5 p.m. at a house on County Road 628. They say that officers responded to the home and found 70-year-old Donald Simpson suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Two dogs were also found shot to death inside the house.
Authorities identified 34-year-old Daniel Simpson as the suspect involved in the shooting. He was charged with attempted murder and weapons charges.
