Police: Vehicle fatally strikes 12-year-old girl, dog in West Windsor

Ananta Ahuja was brought to a nearby hospital where she later died. Her dog died at the scene.

A 12-year-old girl and her dog were killed Monday night when they were struck by what is believed to be a Jeep Grand Cherokee in West Windsor.
Police say it happened at the intersection of Rabbit Hill Road and Abbington Lane.
Ananta Ahuja was brought to a nearby hospital where she later died. Her dog died at the scene.
Police say that the identity of the 65-year-old driver who allegedly struck the child is being withheld pending the results of the investigation.
