Police upgrade charges in fatal Stamford attack

Stamford police have upgraded the charges for Orlando Gomez-Perez and Carlos Perez-Perez, who were previously charged with assault in the first degree. Police say the two confessed their involvement in the assault.

Authorities have announced upgraded charges in a Stamford homicide.
Stamford police have upgraded the charges for Orlando Gomez-Perez and Carlos Perez-Perez, who were previously charged with assault in the first degree. Police say the two confessed their involvement in the assault.
Modesto Santiago Gomez was found dead along a path connecting Woodland Avenue and Walter Wheeler Drive last October.
Gomez-Perez and Perez-Perez have now been charged with murder, conspiracy to commit murder and tampering with evidence.
